Club Rides

The Club rides are taken by volunteers - members of the Club who would like to share their passion with others.

Our Ladies' and Beginner's rides are open to the public, but we encourage people to support the Club by taking out a membership once they have established that they'd like to continue participating in our rides.  Our Intermediate and Advanced rides, as well as our Track and Crit Training sessions require you to be a member, due to the duty of care requirements.

Membership gives you personal insurance coverage and with licences starting at just $80 for a full year, it makes sense to join.  The Club receives just $15 of the annual licence, which is the smallest annual fee for any Cycling Club in Brisbane.  We think for $15, you get a heck of a lot of value as most of our rides and training sessions are free of charge to members.

We have tried to design a progression path to ensure that all levels of riding are catered to.  If in doubt of your ability, start with the easier ride to ensure your safety and enjoyment and that of the other riders in the group.

Please take the time to read our Club Ride Code of Conduct and our Bunch Riding Ettiquette guidelines before participating.  Even if you have ridden extensively before, our Club may have slightly different techniques, so please run your eye over it.

If you have questions about any of the rides listed below, please email us at membership@duttoncycles.org.au
